Colt Python .357

I have .357 colt python with serial number that begins with V206 and can't locate on list of serial numbers. Anyone know what year this revolver was made? Thinking about selling it, any idea on value? The gun is a Colt .357 magnum Python, royal blue finish, revolver.

V206XX was made in 1978.

The "V" series started that year, began at V01001, and ran to V36736 by the end of the year.

Value depends on actual condition, whether it still has the original wood grips, and whether you have the original box and paper.
A lot depends on the price of Pythons in your local area. Some areas they sell higher then others.

Considering a Python with original grips in Excellent condition, the price would start around $800.00 up to $1000.
