you will find a great Python for a grand
in the last 12 months I picked up a K22 for 290 (well used but mechanically strong) and a near perfect Diamondback (no blue wear but some idiot drilled it for a scope) for 466.
Be patient and the deal will come.
(BTW, I also overpaid for a roached Diamondback so as to save the old girl and 50 bucks too much for a Winchester 63....so learn from me...don't let emotion get involved)
