I did not like the trigger in my S70 Colt LW Commander, it was too short for my hands and made achieving a good trigger pull impossible for me. So I ordered a new trigger from Midway. I got the STI Match Trigger long curve. This trigger has overtravel adjustment and tabs for pre travel adjustment.
I have never attempted either of these adjustments before and wanted to ask for advise.
I understand the overtravel adjustment process and what it accomplishes, but Im not familiar with the pre travel adjustment process.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on this process or offer their expertise in properly setting the pre travel?
I know some will say leave it to a smith to do, but so far the minor upgrades have been relatively simple to do and I tend to think that installing this trigger wont be rocket science... Please correct me if Im wrong.
