A problem we all here share.Wish I had more Gun Money! but more stuff will eventually pop up. No Rush here
The barrel is to long. If it isn't a hunting or competition handgun, I'm not into >4" barrels. I have a thing for 2.5" - 3" barrel revolvers.29-2 Chromed out with a wood box don’t do it for ya?
good to know… maybe other people thing so to and I can get it for cheaper…The barrel is to long. If it isn't a hunting or competition handgun, I'm not into >4" barrels. I have a thing for 2.5" - 3" barrel revolvers.
You posted 2 pictures of that 27 with the beautiful old-fashioned blued finish for a reason lol... It's pricey though. What's the normal going rate? If $1600 a good price? I reckon I wouldn't even carry the M27 if I brought it for that price.good to know… maybe other people things and I can get it for cheaper…
Buying my collection at a slower pace.!
I’m a big fan of the Mark guns! I had to get aA problem we all here share.
Ive got a Ruger Mk1 and Spanish Modelo 1907 Cavalry Troopers sword in layaway jail now, lol.
that the thing, it’s already worn in, So I would definitely carry itYou posted 2 pictures of that 27 with the beautiful old-fashioned blued finish for a reason lol... It's pricey though. Yep!This. I’m not a collector & don’t generally buy guns I don’t need or intend to shoot a lot, so my wish list is very short. A 3.5” pre-27 would be on it.
Ahem, what about the so-called "pre" Model 27 with the much desired 3.5-inch barrel?
I couldn't agree more.This. I’m not a collector & don’t generally buy guns I don’t need or intend to shoot a lot, so my wish list is very short. A 3.5” pre-27 would be on it.
Thanks! I really like the pre-27 now. Tomorrow, I’ll go check it out again. $1600 is a big chunk of money but 90-day layaway is BOMB! lolI have much less cool variants of both the 27 and the 29.
If I could only have one or the other, I'd take the 27 because it will probably get shot more.
You have good taste in revolvers.
they have a blue with rubber grip for $925-ishRun back and get the 29-2.
It's fun helping you spend your money.
Is the blued one a -2 also?they have a blue with rubber grip for $925-ish
they got two -2, one blue on one stainless. Is the blued one a -2 also?
I know! but the Pre-27 is on my top choice too.I believe the shiny nickeled. If it were stainless it would be a 629.
You best be putting this one on layaway also. You know it needs to be done.
That’s the way it goes.Just got back from the shop… Pre-27 didn’t make it pass a few hours of hitting the floor
Not going to lie, I feel kinda bad. But oooh well. Now I know what to look for and knowing is half the battle… <<<I have missed out on deals by being unwilling to make a spur of the moment decision.
Oh, well.
Reminds me of the time I had gun funds recently sunk in Gun H and did not think I could afford Gun C or Gun B.
Had I seen them all at the same time, I would have been better off with Gun C. But it was the most conventional and I might not have gotten past the Kewl Factor of the others anyhow.
