On the rare occasion I'll carry this one in a OWB leather Bianchi holster. It's about like carrying my model 28 S&W, you're always aware it's "there".

As they are beginning to appreciate handsomely and this one is flawless, I do not often expose it to the vagaries of carry. It is a heck-a-stout unit, for sure.

I had a MK. III back in the late '70's. Blued with a 4" barrel, it was my main .357 until I started in with Ruger Security Sixes. An extremely well balanced gun, its only drawback was a rather heavy DA trigger. Some years later I picked up a MK. V with a 6" barrel and was very impressed with the improvements that had been made to the Trooper MK. III. The vent rib and high polished blue finish looked great, the wood grips fit my hand perfectly, and the DA trigger pull was significantly better.

I've got this ratty old NIB nickel one. I'll have to dig up a pic of the boxed up 4" blue one I have.

I prefer the older Trooper .357 picked this one up for $75.00 about 2years ago blueing is pretty much gone but doesn't rust in the desert southwest. Makes a great truck gun.
