colt xse or should i get something else?

title says it all. looking at adding a 5" colt xse in stainless. typically i prefer mil spec 1911's, but this time i want a ambi safety version with beavertail in stainless. just cause. what's your thoughts...am i passing over something far better for the same cost? thanks.

You can get a pretty nice Rock Island for around 450 with ambi safety and the beaver tail. A Colt is still a Colt however.

I bought the plain black steel Colt XSE, and it's been a great shooting 1911.
I don't think you can fing a better 1911.
