It's an overhead view RPG, similar to the ones that were popular on the Super Nintendo.

Just looking at the screen shots and reading their forums, the creator of the game made it to explore the shooting, it's causes, and even it's aftermath. For anyone who think about the possibility that this game is a celebration of the shooting, consider the fact that the shooters end the game running through Hell being chased by demons.

Reminds me of the 9/11 mod for Half-Life...
I don't think that one had as innocent of intentions as this RPG, though.

For reference, there have been about a billion and a half Columbine inspired First Person Shooter knockoffs ever since the event itself.

Me, I never got the mystique in treating it like a dirty word. Is it tasteful? Maybe not. Will we ever get into the heads of the two boys and really know what they thought or felt? Doubt it.

Is this, or should it be a big deal at this point? Not really, in my opinion. It's only about half a degree away from the way those World War 2 sims that are all the rage these days could be construed by holocaust survivors.

In an ideal world, the word "Columbine" would have lost all of its shock value and sensationalism about six months after the event. Yet, because people are silly and macabre, it persists.

Short answer: Whatever.
