Battle rifles upon my understanding are assault rifles of large bores. Such as the HK G3 (.308 caliber) or FN FAL (also .308).

Assault rifles have smaller intermediate calibers.

I only have a chinese sks and a colt 1911 held by the police, until they are done pressing charges on the punk who stole my safe with it in
