Combining shooting glasses w/ RX lenses ?

I recently got a new pair of RX glasses, and the shop returned my old lenses (minus the frame).

I'm wondering if there are any shooting glasses out there I can combine with my raw lenses. I need something big enough and flat enough for the RX lenses, and some way of attaching them to the insides of the shooting glasses.

Is this even do-able?

I don't think that the lenses can be reshaped to new safety glasses.

Here is what I did... I bought a pair of Uvex safety glasses and bought the precription insert that clips on the inside. That way if/when your safety glasses get scratched or you want a different lenses, you can snap the insert into a different pair. Saves from buying a whole new set of precription glasses. You have to take the insert to an Optician to get your precription put in.

Thanks, this is what I was looking for.

My plan is even easier. I have set of RX lenses that are small enough to be secured to the *inside* of some shooting glasses. So there would actually be 2 layers of lenses.

As long as the shooting glasses are fairly large and have a relatively flat curvature, I should be able to glue or secure the RX lenses to the inside of the shooting glasses. Maybe all it would take is a small piece of double-sided tape or a few dabs of rubber cement.

Essentially, I'm doing the same thing as wearing my RX glasses and then wearing some shooting glasses on top of those. Except with my proposed solution, I'll only have one set of frames.
