The link below takes readers/listeners to an interview featuring Len Savage, whose name might be familiar to people on this site, and Aaron Zelman of JPFO, and details Mr. Savage's experiences with the ATF, more correctly the BATFE in various firearms related matters. The interview also discusses particular criminal cases involving the ATF and private citizens, as well as ATF's record keeping problems.

Some amongst you might, on seeing/hearing this interview, if you bother to listen, it runs about 30 minutes, might roll your eyes an conclude not some more of this stuff, or words to that effect. If you so desire, you may take that attitude, however I submit that such would be a serious mistake on your part, for doing nothing, for failing to do nothing more that bringing the interview to the attention of your elected things, will only serve to give aid and comfort to the run away mob that is the BATFE. I read the transcript. Interesting read, but not particularly surprising. I guess I'll drop my congress critter a line with a reference, and the subject "Please call for an inquiry into the BATFE" or something similar.

That's a start, I would say. For myself, I addressed comment, and the link to the audio to my federal elected things, Senators Specter and Casey, Congressman Jason Altmire.

In Pittsburgh and surrounding areas, discounting such small local/community papers as there might be, I posted comment and the above mentioned link on Pittsburgh Tribune Review Discussions, under National and International heading. I very much doubt that the "other" major paper, The Post-Gazette would print either my comments, or the link, given their long standing anti gun editorial policy, though I will give it a try.

For whatever it might be worth, I submit that mobs like BATFE prefer to operate in the dark, well away from the light of day, from questions and from an informed, critical public. Do not allow them to so operate, for to so do places YOUR rights at grave risk, or so it appears to me.
