I have a Mossberg 500 with a pistol grip on it . I want a conventional stock like it came with but just about 2-3 inches or more shorter . Does anyone make one ? I would get a factory regular one and then cut it but I think cutting it will interfere with the long bolt that goes through it . I cant find my original stock .

Anyone know if anyone makes these or where to find one ?

If it's anything like the Remington stocks, it won't - you should be able to chop a couple inches off the rear of the stock no problem. :)

The Mossberg/Maverick stock sets use a short bolt to attatch the stock, so you can remove several inches without worry.

If you want a shorter, but factory made stock, {So that you can just bolt on and replace the recoil pad without a lot of fitting/grinding} "Youngster" mentioned the Hogue stock, and Mossberg also offers the "Bantam" stock that is shorter, and IIRC, they offer one with several pads/spacers so you custom fit the stock to you.

You could get a collapsible stock and change the length from day to day.
