Does anyone know of an inexpensive compact scope that has a BDC calibrated for .308 and is compatible with a CETME. I plan on getting a Stanag style mount, but for now I am using a low profile claw rail with a 30mm red dot, so see thru rings are probably going to be a temporary option.
I've seen several scopes that I like, but they are all calibrated for .223 ARs. Any suggestions?

The fact that it is calibrated for 223 is means very little if you are talking about scopes with long range dots. I use the same BDC reticle on my 308, 30-06, 300 WSM and 223. They are so close it doesn't matter. You still have to go out and shoot to see exactly where the bullets impact.

If you're talking about twisting dials, there are several options from Leupold and Burris where they will make custom dials when you provide ballistic data. Or just use the one for 30-06. It is so close as to not matter.
