Comparing the HK45 to the FNP 45

good video. I have the HK45, but I'm sure the FN is a quality .45. The ergonomics won out for me.

I've not had any problems. I own the FNP USG in the video and I also own a FNP Tactical. I've not had any problems with either firearm. My buddy (and cameraman) also owns a FNP .45 and he hasn't had any problems with the trigger pin.

I've read about the problem on other forums, so it appears to be one of those things that some folks have had a problem with and others haven't. I'm not sure how wide spread the issue might be, but if it were something common I would imagine FN would issue a fix pretty quickly. They are one of the more responsive firearms makers out there, at least in my experience.

Nice job. I think I'd tend to agree. The HK is a little nicer, but a LOT more expensive.

Also, I'm not sure how many mags it comes with, but I'm pretty sure it isn't 3. Extras are $50 a pop, if I understand correctly. Ouch.

Good to hear. I have a new FNP .45 USG and have wondered about how common the problem is.

Well, I'm different, as I actually carry an HK45CT pistol. I carry it everyday concealed with the 8 round magazine in it and an additional 10 round magazine in a magazine pouch on my left hip. I have smaller sized hands and the FN 45 is simply too big for me. Plus, I have carried the HK Compact 40 for the federal government for awhile and like the quality and durability of the HK over anything else. It's true that they are expensive, but personally I feel they are the best out there. That being said, if I had not bought the HK45CT I would have bought the FN second. The one thing I do like about the HK45C model is that it is very easy for me to conceal. That makes it worth it to me.
