I hate to start a thread on common issues but I feel this comparison should be made.

This is both a reminder of the current climate as well as a question of what can we do as a gun community? I don't have a plan of action so I didn't put this in Activism but what are some options? Which politicians do we write to? Which organizations are helping us on these issues? How do we defend our Constitution that guarantees (not grants us) the right to bear arms and defend ourselves.
I dare say any straying of the topics at hand will result in the closure of this thread so lets try to think and if there are already other resources out there, to provide them so we can get educated on what's going on.
