I bought a performance center .500 compensated hunter with a 6.5 inch barrel since I back pack a lot in bear country. I felt the 4 inch barrel model lost a lot in the power department.
I have also read that the performance center compensator is not that great and others on the forum have removed them or put a cap over them. I have never shot without it so I do not know how much it really does and if having it cut off and getting some porting could do a better job while making the gun more manageable to draw.
Any advice welcome.
