S&W 500 question

I think the 500 was out for about 6-8 years before a 6.5" barrel was offered. The market was pretty "filled" with new and used guns before the remainder of buyers got to pick from the assorted barrel lengths that NOW includes the 6.5" THAT is why not that many 6.5" guns are out there.

Still looking at buying one. Haven't found one used yet. Guess that size is too new.
