The AR that is right for you depends on what you intend to do with it.

If you just need one to go-bang on Saturday afternoon on a pistol range, pretty much anything will do.

Focus your objective, and your requirement will be better seen.

I have built 1 from that very kit that a friend bought and another friend built an AR from that kit. Neither rifle has ever had brass cased ammo in them and neither has ever jambed and one of them gets a workout once a month whether it needs it or not. They are GTG. Possibly the best deal available IMO.

Putting it together is easy. We used a pair of channel locks and not much else.

I ordered a $316 PTAC rifle kit (everything less stripped lower) from PSA last week, will be delivered on Monday. Yes, I know its a cheapo, but I already have a $850 14.5" and a $1100 side charging 18" Larue barreled tack driver. I cant wait to test the crap out of this $376 AR ($316 for the rifle kit, $60 for the lower) and point out any issues/problems that I run into. I dont expect miracles, but I do think its going to impress me for the cost.
