Hi all!
Mason here, I haven't been around for a while but now that I am back on the grid (and no, I wasn't in jail haha) I have some questions for you.
I took a course a few weeks back for acquiring certification in order to get my Conceal/Carry permit. I understand you don't have to take the course to get one (to my knowledge, this may vary by state) but I wanted the training and oppurtunity to learn. The course was great and I did learn a lot.
Now, as far as picking a firearm I am still debating. I own some revolvers and such but no automatics. In other words, I am looking to purchasing a pistol for conceal carry. During my course I was using a friends Ruger P90, which I enjoyed shooting and found to be comfortable. I was looking at the XD's before leaning more towards the shortened 1911's, and that is when I saw the Colt Defender. I have looked at the Kimber Pro Carry II? As well.
If anyone here has a Colt Defender .45 or is even plugging away with that new Springfield EMP 9mm? I would love to hear some feedback.
