Hello all,

I'm looking for recommendations on the best G30 holster for concealed carry. Comfort and print profile are my two main considerations (are there others?... I've never carried before).

IWB, Shoulder harness, etc... what, in your opinion, is the best carry option? Given your carry method preference, what manufacturer and model do you recommend?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I use IWB's for my G23 for the better support and concealment. I like Sparks SS-II for leather, and Blade Tech for kydex. There are others that work pretty good.

A good belt is mandatory for carry, and both of these holsters are very comfortable for me.

Wow, 22 holsters!!!

I ordered my first from him last week, for a Steyr M40. The Falcon Model. Can't wait to get it.

A shooting buddy has had two made now, one for his SIG and one for his Steyr M40.

Beautiful workmanship and quality.

Make mine a Milt Sparks VM2. It is a IWB holster. You will forget you have it on, trust me. It is thin and super comfortable. I would think a shoulder holster would really limit the way you can dress.

Hi Carlos:

Yea, I guess I've gone alittle nuts.

For years I bought holsters based on their design and not who the maker was.

A couple of years ago, I tried Ron on the recommendation of an eastern PA cop.

The quality of his work is every bit as good as Milt Sparks, or any other custom or high end shop. I think his work is far superior to Kramer.

He keeps his prices reasonable by not spending money on ads. So, I have become his number one fan and cheerleader.

He will make you a sharkskin holster if you want, but his bread and butter is excellent working leather.

I've only had one holster that really lasted for longer than 6 years without falling apart or getting so stretched-out as to become worthless. Ron, I use his pocket holsters every day. After two years, no sign of wear.

The only neg is that Ron is a one man shop.
