My wife has heard that if you have a concealed carry license and ever shoot someone you may end up in jail and lose everything you own even if you do everything right. There is insurance available that will cover liability and legal costs in these situations. Any thoughts are experience with this type of insurance. What my wife fails to understand is that the only way I am ever going to shoot anyone is if I am convinced that I, or someone dear to me, will be killed or seriously harmed if I do not shoot them. I would rather be broke and in jail than dead.
