I can't believe no one has mentioned the Bersa Thunder CC in 380!
It is just about exactly the same size as a Glock G42, is all metal but only 17.4 oz, carries 8+1 rounds, has an excellent DA/SA trigger which gives you a second strike capability, is reasonably soft shooting for a small and light 380 that can be pocket carried and last but not least, it is very inexpensive.
