Is it legal to carry a concealed handgun while hunting with Bow or Muzzleloader?
As far as the hunting regs go you should not have any other weapon with you but a concealed weapon is not a hunting weapon, is it?

We are assuming that you are legaly licenesed in that state to carry, of course.

Check your local hunting regulations. Some specifically say you can, (most) others don't allow it.

Edit: It would be interesting to find out if you could CC a black powder revolver during the muzzle loader hunting season in a state that doesn't allow cartridge guns, though....one of those with an extra cylinder would work in about 90% of situations you'd find yourself in.

Really depends on your local state laws. Some states allow it and others do not. Many states have specific prohibitions on having a firearm while bow hunting.
Your location simply says southwest. Well in CA it is illegal. You can not have a firearm while bowhunting in a bow only area or during bow only season.

Desert Southwest? very descriptive

You're in Mexico, right?:neener:

I don't know the laws down there, just bribe someone , you'll be fine.

It'll vary. In some states, no, in others yes. In some of them that say no you might be able to carry a BP handgun (though it may need to be a single shot). It varies widely so check your laws and regs carefully.

Best I can say:

THOROUGHLY check with the local "Game-N-Fish" guys. In Ohio, f'rinstance, carrying your ccw piece during (modern gun) deer season will land you a whole truckload 'o trouble. If you have a 5"+ barrel .357 or bigger, OK, but how many people could CC say a 6" GP-100 Ruger. Oh yeah, and no matter what you have, it CANNOT be concealed.

There were some rumbles about fixing that CCW/Hunting conflict, but IIRC, it wasn't resolved.
