A while back I posted a photo of Confederate revolvers that did not include all models - cause I didn't have them all. Now I do. Here are the handguns used by the Confederacy that have had reproductions made:

Counter Clockwise from the top:
Griswold and Gunnison sheriffs model ( Uberti)
Tucker & Sherrard (Uberti)
Spiller & Burr (Pietta
Schneider & Glassick(Pietta)
Leech and Rigdon (Uberti)
Rigdon & Ansley Augusta (Uberti)
Navy LeMat (Pietta)
Griswold & Gunnison (Pietta)
J.H. Dance (Pietta)

Center:
Leech & Rigdon Sheriffs model (Pietta)

The Tucker & Sherrard, LeMat, and J.H.Dance are .44 caliber. All others are .36

I had no idea Uberti/Pietta made so many different ones. All I know about were the Spiller & Burr, Leech & Rigdon, and Griswolds.

Fingers, you never fail to impress!

Not only are you knowledgable, but you are a darn fine photographer to boot.

This should be a "sticky".

Thanks.

+1 on the sticky.

This is the finest collection of repro Confederate revolving belt pistols of naval and army caliber that I have ever seen.

Good work, it takes a lot of dedication to put such a collection together. Now for that stainless Colt collection you're working on...

As for me and my house, we have three of those mentioned.

Wow what a nice collection! I was just a kid when they came out and didn't have the money but I always wanted the three High Standard Arms of the Confederacy; the Griswold and Gunnison, the Leech and Rigdon, and the Schneider and Glassick. Still looking to get a Spiller and Burr one of these days.

Quite an achievement.

BTW, I'd rather own replicas than originals. At least I can shoot them and if something goes wrong, it's not like I ruined something valuable.

I used to fantisize about getting a Griswold and Gunnerson repro and taking it up to Griswoldville, burying it and then digging it up just so I could say I had a G&G dug up at Griswoldville.

OK I am a little odd, but I do love to tease folks.

I understand that G&G's slave labor had trouble producing parts that passed inspections and have oft wondered if some of those "no-go" parts are scattered about out there. Of course there could have been who knows what in the buildings when the Yankees burned them as well. Wonder if my brother in law still has his metal detector gear and if locals shoot trespassers?

And one more time....three is a charm..... the CSA revolver I want is an LAC Kerr.

Nice collection, BTW and thanks for posting it.
