Sigh. It all started so innocently, you know.
A friend went with me to the shooting range and he brought along his 20ga.
pump and a hand-thrower and some clays and said "Hey! Let's bust some
clays while we're here." I'd never "busted clays" before. I'd never even
shot a shotgun before. It sounded like it would be fun.
That was a year ago. I now have a specialized trap gun and a gun club
membership; I've paid for lessons, shells and range time; I'm pricing shooting
vests and reloaders ... I don't even *want* a reloader!! ... and all I do is
think about "busting clays". I stand in my family room holding an unloaded
shotgun pointing at nothing. I stand in front of a mirror mounting and
unmounting a chunk of wood and metal whilst gravely grading each
performance. I even find myself reading shotgun forums on the web and,
yes if you can believe it, posting to them too.
I need help.
Oh, and money. *Lots* of money.
