Honorable President Bush, Honorable Senators and Congresspeople, and other interested parties…
In September of 2001, I heard the call for all americans to join and support the war on terror and have been patiently waiting, along with the 80 million other members of the unorganized militia, for congress to arm us as the constitution directs. Having been called in to federal service by the President, it is the responsibility of congress to arm the militia according to the many militia acts within the constitution as well as the articles that disseminate the powers to the executive and legislative branch.
Normally, we would be ready for any acts of war or invasion on our own soil, but since 1934 there have been numerous attacks on the second amendment which have severely curtailed our militias ability to be as adequately armed as the organized militia and standing armies of the United States, therefore, we request that congress deliver unto the unorganized militia (that would be all of us Americans not in the organized militia) an automatic weapon for each individual in the unorganized militia along with 1,000 rounds of ammunition. As soon as we have our weapons that congress is lawfully bound to arm us with, we will happily and courageously join together as a well regulated unit and appoint our officers, as required by the constitution, so we can be ready in our respective states for the defense of our free states and nation.
Respectfully yours,
DKSuddeth
