Here is to get you started.
Buy a Black-powder revolver, can be order to your door (no FFL needed), depending where you live. Check your laws.

Then get a conversion kit or conversion cylinder (no FFL to purchase). Their not cheap. But better than dealing with a FFL. Depending on cylinder, no major tools needed. Get a drop-in.
