Convert old style Vaqueros to new style cylinder hand and indexing?

The new style Ruger Vaqueros have a new system so that the cylinder can line up precisely with the loading gate for loading and unloading. Is it possible to convert Ruger Blackhawks and old style Vaqueros to do the same?

I installed Power Custom kits (part # 925-494) in both of my Ruger Bisley Blackhawks. Here's a photo showing the parts that come in the kit for the stainless models. I bought the kits from Midway for $175 each or thereabouts. I used the 17lb spring from the kit but didn't use the trigger spring. I bent the factory trigger spring as per the instructions that came with the Power Custom kit. The kit takes a while to install and isn't for the faint of heart. You'll need to extend the notch in the transfer bar but the end results are well worth the effort.
