I purchased a small frame Remington rolling block chambered in 32 rim fire a while back. Ammo is almost impossible to find. 32 rf and 32 short colt have the same cartridge dimensions so I converted the rifle to center fire.
I took it out to see how well it shot. While I was walking out with the target with rifle and ammo in hand I was attacked by a bunch of cottontail rabbits. Fortunately for me the little rifle shoots the 32 colt ammo where the sights are looking. I killed rabbits from about 15 yards to 40 yards. Six shots, six rabbits. Worst case of suicide I have ever seen.
Never did get to shoot a target. All I can say is that the little rifle shoots minute of rabbit.
Seriously though, it was great fun shooting a rifle that probably hasn't been fired since before WWII.
Almost no damage to the meat. Rabbits should provide a couple of tasty meals.
