What would be required to convert a CZ 550 in 9.3x62 to the 9.3x64 cartridge? Could a riflesmith simply rechamber or would a rebarrel be required?

It probably is Possible.
But you will have to have the bolt face opened up, for the bigger case head.
And I have no data that compares the neck length and the distance from the case head to shoulder angle.
I would say it is cost prohibitive since you have to modify the bolt and probably have to have the barrel set back if the shoulder on the 62 is further forward than the 64
And a new barrel doesnt solve the bolt face issue.
The bores are the same, and that is about it.
There are some measurements in "Cartridges of the World".

Also, One thing that is forgoten when rechambering is the barrel twist rate.
Just because it is the same bore, it doesn't mean you get or use the same rifling twist rate for both calibers.
