Imagine my shock to read that we are currently "embroiled in a nuclear standoff" with North Korea. And everyone seems so calm around here...

Um...some ROKs are training because they live next to North Korea? And there's snow. :D

South Korean special warfare soldiers patrol during an exercise in Heonggye, east of Seoul January 16, 2003. Communist North Korea, embroiled in a nuclear standoff with the United States, said on Thursday that resentment was growing with mass anti-U.S. rallies held all over the country. Ok..all that white camo for everything except their flak jackets?

Makes a nice aiming point.

I kinda like the arctic white color of the weapons. Makes for a neat idea, except we don't get snow here in Fl. :D

    Good Shooting

    Redlg155,

For Florida maybe you can get one in pink so that you can blend with the flamingos;)

I'm still looking for a mutable camo version to cover NM... tan for the desert, green camo for the forests and white camo for the aspen forests...

What you don't see is the parachute on under the skis for when they have to ski off the side of a mountain to get away from 007.

    :D

Actually, that green flak jacket may not be such a bad idea.

It looks like they're training in an area with lots of pine trees.

At a distance the could look like a scrub pine...

Nahh, you guys got this all wrong.

They are still awaiting the covers for their flak vests to get finished by the tailors.

Some times, depending on what the snow conditions, and what the landscape is like, I've worn white pants with the green camo uniform jacket.
This is good when you have snow on the ground but not on the trees, and your in a forest.
If you are up in the mountains, with few trees, then you would also wear a white jacket.
Choose your camo after the area and the conditions, not after the season.
