Cool pics of shooting...how many can you I.D.?

A friend sent me the link. Looks like a photography project where they have taken pictures of various objects being shot by various weapons. Pretty neat looking anyway.

I like how in the left-hand lemon pic, you can see (at far left) the base of the bullet. Frozen lemon must have made it tumble.

Those are really cool pics; I especially like the way the frozen lemon seemed to be "shattering."

I liked the shot of the bullet cutting rubber. My guess is rubber bands. What was really neat was to think they had all been the same length before the bullet cut them, and the ones cut first have contracted the most along the bullet's path causing the funnel or horizontal v shape. Very nice indeed. I also liked the Queen of Diamonds with the bullet in flight still in the pic.

Interesting that no matter what material is shot (soup/lemon etc) the spray is white.

I have several of Davidhazy's photos that I have "liberated" to my hard drive.

All of this stop action photography is awsome. I have never seen this much in one place though. Thanks for the link.

that is because the spray is composed of very small droplets of various sizes. the variety of sizes allows the drops to scatter the full spectrum of light.

Visual proof that to propery use the HD shotgun, you need to AIM...just like the carbine.

Incredible pictures.

I had no idea the wad peeled away that soon. I always thought it magically happened somewhat further downrange, but it makes sense, I suppose.

Whatever's on the receiving end of that load of shot is in for a world of hurt. I'd like to see pictures of stuff getting splattered by the shotgun...it'd be interesting to see multiple cuts in a card, tomato, etc.
