I have a Winchester Model 94 .30-.30, and I've tried Hoppes Benchrest and Tetra Gun with a lot of scrubbing, but I can never get ALL the copper fouling out of the barrel. The grooves always get good and clean, but I always still have a thin coating of copper on the lands. I can see it when I shine a light down the barrel. Is it normal to always have some copper fouling on the lands? How much would this affect the accuracy? I bought this gun new about 10 years ago.

Sweet's 7.62 and a swab to apply. wait 10 minutes push a clean patch with a jag not a loop, clean with normal solvent. If not gone repeat it should be all it takes.

I used shooters choice copper fouling remover it was just for that purpose it seamed to work fine on my sako 7mm rem mag during break in

There are a couple of ways that I use to remove copper.. First up was Sweets 762. works very good. Next up.. JB bore cleaner/Remclean, both work well, but took lots of patches and elbow grease. Finally I found how to make my own electric bore cleaner ( foulout ) and since then I not looked back! Just google homemade electric bore cleaner and I'm sure you can find it. I think the cost for all materials was less than $5.
As for how much this affects accuracy.. Your rifle will tell you. ( Not belittling your firearm ) But you may find out alittle fouling may help the accuracy... For most all of my rifles ( except the " beanfield/sniper " rifles ) I just use GM top engine cleaner.. At your local GM dealer for about $7 for 15oz. I think it works as good ( if not better ) as Shooters Choice! And it also removes copper.

Foaming.
Bore.
Cleaner.

I've done some HORRIFIC milsurps with it (AFTER I spent hours scrubbing) and they turned out INCREDIBLE.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I just ordered some Wipe Out foam cleaner. It sounds like that should do the trick.
