Copsplus.com...flake company or what???

Anybody here ever do business with copsplus.com before? I ordered a Safariland 560 holster from them a while back and still nothing. They charged my credit card that same day I placed the order and there's no real way to get hold of them other than Fax or email that they still haven't answered. Should I start thinking of calling the credit card company or are these folks a decent business that's just out of stock at the moment?

I've ordered from them a couple of times now and never one problem. IIRC I usually got my packages in 5-7 business days. I don't think they ever did provide me with tracking info, though.

Ordered from them once, and had no problems. Delivery within one week, no glitches.

I just placed a sizable order with them. I recieved an e-mail within a day telling me of my order status. The item it took the longest to get was a knife (got it last Friday after five six weeks) but that was due to backorders with Columbia River. I also found the customer service to be responsive and they provided me with the UPS tracking numbers. That's my experience.

I've used CopsPlus three times. Their communication was horrible each times, but I received the items promptly. My last order had one item that was back ordered. After 2 emails, they finally emailed me a status update. I received the item shortly thereafter. Their prices are hard to beat and I would probably order from them again, now that I know what to expect in the way of communication.

I placed an order with them recently. Communication was horrible, and they charged my credit card a week before shipping anything. Then, I only received a partial shippment with no explanation, and it took nearly 2 weeks to get a refund for the remainder. I only got a response after posting my frustrations here. I will never order from them again ... beware.

4 days later - partial order shows up, rest have 'backorder' on packing slip

backorders show up about a week later.

Frustrating, but GREAT PRICES.

Ordered from them last month. Status was available on line almost immediately. They claim 7-10 business days for shipping. Everything arrived on day 9. Great Prices.

I will never do buisness with the again. I ordered an streamlight M3 from them. I went back to there website to check status and it said "sent to the wherehouse" so I figured great, it should go out in the next couple of days. Well 3 weeks later no change in status no nothing. Finally I sent them a nasty e-mail. 3 days after that I got a reply that the light had finally gone out. Well long story relatively short, I got the light about 6 weeks after ordering. I will never order from them again. I will stick to the bigger companies that I have faith in them. By the way I am having the same trouble with Side Armor and will no ever order from them again. I relise many have had good succses with them, but after 6 weeks no product, I am very frustrated.

I've never used that place, but had the same experience with
tacticalshop.com. Charged my card, never sent the goods. Never returned any emails, phone number disconnected.

Cops Plus had my Galco Speed Scabbard for my Mag Carry at a really good price, but it took forever to get it delivered.

Funny you ask. I cancelled my order today after waiting in excess of a month for it. I got some of my items about 2 weeks after I ordered them, but the important item (Streamlight TT-2L) wasn't with the order and there was no explanation as to its whereabouts included.

I emailed them about a week after I got the first part of my order, and they said that the light was on back order and that I could check my order status online. I did so and noticed that the date they were supposed to receive the flashlight changed 3 times. After I cleared the month time marker, I cancelled my order for the light and got it from someone else.

They might have great prices, but that just makes them Botach Tactical's younger sibling as far as I'm concerned. All you need to know about Botach is archived at The Firing Line forums.

I'm unimpressed. Even the part of the order I DID get came very slowly.

They can charge your card same day but they have to ship when they charge.

I'd say that if I got a credit card bill without notice of shipment if not shipment in hand, I'd contest the charge before paying the bill (paying, in full or partial means you acknowledge the charges are yours and agree to them.)

Most credit card companies have a way to contest a charge online so its no big deal. Their process is slow and you can always withdraw the challenge if the stuff arrives.

Doesn't sound like they cheated anyone though . . . just poor service, which means I'll pass, good prices or no.

I ordered a Safariland holster for my CZ-85. They shipped it pretty quickly, don't remember any problems. It was about a year ago though. No complaints here.

Well, decided to pull the plug on that order yesterday and go with a rig from Blade Tech instead. I got ahold of Copsplus Inc's. phone number through the Better Business Bureau and got ahold of the guy and he said they were out of stock but would be getting in more later. It was about 10 days later I decided to bail out and go with someone else instead. Now to check my credit card statement on a daily basis until I get my money back.
