Cor Bon 32 ACP

I had an early production Tomcat that I tried it in, it split the slide. Beretta was kind enough to replace the gun, no questions asked. AFAIK, it is within SAAMI specs, :uhoh:, and it was 'snappy'!

Corbon .32ACP?

Check out golden Loki's test results:

Cor-Bon does well out of a P-32, (2.8" bbl) and it is what I use in my Zastava Model 70, which has a 3.5" bbl.

Admittedly, the Z is about as heavy as my Mak, so I don't carry it as often as the Mak has the beefier 9x18 Mak round.

Thanks Shootist your saying at the bottom cracked me up! Good movie, two in the chest and one in the head!

We confirmed the advertised velocity -actually a few fps higher which is normal with corbon products. A friend has carried it in the seacamp quite a bit and has used it to shoot soft shelled turtles caught while fishing. Kills the turtle but does't go all the way through a big one. Lately, we have had problems with the bullets telescoping back in to the case when it feeds into the chamber. This could signal the need for a tune up of the pistol but we kind of wish they would canulure the bullet or taper crimp it a bit more .

The shoved back bullets have gone over the chronograph in the mid- 1100 fps range

Thanks Mec, have you tried adjusting the magazine? From what I've read it seems like the ammo to carry in a 32.

I agree- it does 200 fps over the competition. If the gun was mine, I'd get me a set of .32 dies and taper crimp them myself. I'm not sure what is with the guy's seecamp- or the other guy's who bought one at the same time but I suspect that they are not as smooth as they could be because, like a lot of seecamp owners, they shoot them once or twice per year and seldom oil them in between.

I finally got one of them to lubricate his pistol before taking it out to shoot and it worked a good bit better.
