What appeared to be Large cases of handgun ammo are just odd, two or three-sided, open-top wooden boxes which help people find certain handgun chamberings.
At a distance their appearances are rather deceptive, at a glance.
Good news for some people: they again had plenty of - .223 in small white boxes or Cases of "Federal" ".5.56 x 45 ", at 1:00 today, along with lots of small boxes of .22 LR.
At least the overall trend is still a good indication.
