Cost and Availability of Pistol Primers Locally

I bought 2,000 cci small pistol today for $66 total. Two other stores I visited today were selling them for $40+/1000. I am in north Alabama.

In the Bend/Redmond area in Oregon primers are now back in stock but prices fluctuate greatly from business to business from $30.00 to $50.00 per 1000. Powder is still in short supply. Bullets are still trickling in.

The shop that I prefer to do business with is only a few miles away, and they have every type of CCI primer, charges $35-40. There's another shop in the next town over that sells them for a little less, but the owner makes it seem like everything he does is a favor to the customer.

$34.99 per 1k on CCI and Winchester. Available just about everywhere down here.

yeah, in So. Cal, the LGS are starting to have primers back on the shelves, some Plated Xtreme boolits, and prices are pretty good. No powders yet.

About .10 for boolits, and .04 for primers.

Hope it goes down a little more.

CCI 500 - $39.99/1k - availability? GREAT
Rem SPP - $45.99/1k - availability? who cares

Every now & then Cabelas will have a deal CCIs for $35.99
They did last fall so I stocked up - bought 7k.
Still have quite a few as the weather has been absolutely BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!

last week was finally in the 50s & dry.
This week? 40s & rainy/snowy

Primers are everywhere in north east Illinois. The only thing that hasn't bounced back is powder

Another is 34$ per 1000 Tula SPP

No limits (obviously)

Man, I hate that..One around here is like that, well, his whole crew is like that. Cant stand it. Seems to be a common theme at gunshops IMO.

I bet primers are back at $25K before the powder shows back up again. LOL. Ya ever wonder why primers are becoming so plentiful?

I can still get Winchesters for $30/k. That's what I've been paying for a lot of years. They will undoubtedly go up but for now I'm riding the wave with them. They are not in short supply around here. Ironically, they are the only thing that's not in short supply around here. (Ironically meaning in the last two shortages primers were hit the hardest).

last tula buy almost a year ago from PV was ~25/k after shipping and hazmat. Around new years I bought 10k winchester spp and lpp at $30 a box. $320 in all after tax at the LGS. I have no need to buy primers for a year but current availability is near 100% and prices are equal to PV prices after shipping/haz for 5-10k.

I'm seeing them at $39.99 for 1k most places but I won't pay it. There is a store only about 45 minutes away that has them regularly for $28.99 for 1k that's worth the trip for several boxes.
