Cost to blue a pistol slide?

I recently bought a HK P9S that has a fair amount of holster wear. I'm thinking about having the slide restored if I like how it shoots.

What is the price range for that kind for work? There aren't that many gun shops around here that do metal work and I don't want to overpay.

Clark Custom will reblue a slide for $75. If they have to strip the current finish, that's an additional $50.

The big cost factor is not the actual bluing process, but the amount of polishing that has to be done prior to bluing. The least expensive would be a bead-blasted finish, which might by O.K. on an HK. A high polish job might run 3 to 4 times more. Keep in mind that poor polishing can ruin the value of the gun, ever though it's less expensive. You can sometimes save some money by doing the preliminary polishing yourself by hand.
