my first carry piece when I owned a dancehall back in the '80's

ran across a nice one for not much money, so I had to snag it

built like a tank

very well balanced

smooth action and accurate

.357 barks like a big dog

that box and lighting reminds me of something that should be in "scarface" or something like that.

Nice pick-up! Would love to have just one of my Security/Service/Speed Sixes back.

color me ENVY

I wanted one for decades.

I have a old blued Security Six [ 2 3/4" ] that shoot oh so well,BUT its not a Speed Six.

Funny,but

That last post reminded me that I gave the very same holster to a young lady that bought my DAO SP101 a few weeks back.

I still have the 3 1/4" model.

But the original Lou Alessi holster did not fit that one.

I will not buy the stuff now stamped Alessi as is not even close to Lou's stuff [ rest in Peace ].

And I am still drooling over that Speed 6.

I did not know that about Alessi holsters.

Maybe this is an older one that I should keep if for nothing more than respect for Lou.

.357 bites like a big dog, too. A really big dog. I still hate myself for selling my 4" .357 Speed Six back in the 1990s. The previous owner had a sweet trigger job done on it. It was smooth and light.

Congratulations! Mine is the 4" version, and serves as our house gun, as my wife liked it enough to claim it for that purpose. (I have plenty of other Ruger and S&W .357 revolvers.) I installed a spurless hammer, and the Pachmayr grips that leave the backstrap exposed. These are great sixguns!

@ doc 50

I know for a fact that is the older holster by Lou himself.

And except for doing that lady [ VERY cute ] a favor,I keep all my Lou holsters.

And I have more than a few.

In Lou's old shop is his old partner ,Skip Ritchie and Skip makes stuff close to Lou's as any I have ever seen.

I own a 'few' of Skip's stuff and am not at all sorry.

He backs his stuff as Lou did.
