My cousin got mugged.. I'm trying to get the details, but basically, she lives in the "not so nice" part of LA, and she got mugged. I believe it was in the parking lot of her work, but I'm trying to find out more details..

Don't bother carrying a gun, the cops will protect you.. RIGHT..

If you are speaking of Los Angeles, probably not until 20,000 residents show up at city hall, besiege the place, and demand the right to protect themselves.

Sorry to hear that you cousin got mugged. I hope this helps her to be more aware of her surroundings in the future. You should have her look to see if she could attend one of the NRA's Refuse to be a Victim courses. I am in the process of organizing a class for my sisters to attend.

As long as the commies are running things, CCW will never be allowed. Have her escape across the Iron Curtain to Nevada or Arizona.

The sad thing is that you have a better chance of "The Big One" coming and California sliding off into the ocean than passing realistic CCW laws.

I used to live in California....now in Texas. Freedom is an amazing feeling.

twoblink, it's not how many people need to be mugged but rather how many people are killed after they cooperated with the criminal. Then the anti-gunners may start waking up - especially if it's a loved one of theirs.

Well, I thought it was a mugging, talking to her right now..

She's a restaurant manager, and came out to see what the ruckus was all about..

Her store got robbed and she got mugged in the process..

She's just a manager, so hey, take the money and go...

Skunk has a CCW. I think there are other California members here that have CCW. I suppose LA County is almost impossible to get a CCW in though.
