Ok, so here is the deal. I have a variant 2 USPf (left handed) and I was interested in getting a match trigger installed after a bit of research and questions on this forum as well as others. THEN, today my p2000sk LEM comes in...well omg the trigger is everything I ever wanted in a trigger but never had! My biggest issue with the USPf is the long trigger reset and rough trigger pull, but the LEM solves both of these...its just beautiful.

NOW comes the tuff part, I was raised on 1911 C&L carry, and to this day its how I carry and what I am comfortable with. I have always needed an external safety to feel comfortable, and not because I dont trust myself to keep my finger out of the trigger guard, but because I just feel better having it in there incase something ridiculous were to happen while the gun is holstered...not that I can think of anything. Im also the type of guy that puts the parking break on my truck even when its parked on flat ground, as a just incase backup to the brakes, which is how I see a safety.

So, I really want the LEM, but I really worry about changing my mode of carry after all these years, can you guys give me some good reasons NOT to go with the LEM since I apparently have covered all the reasons to go with it.

I'm more of a Glock man myself, so i'd whole heartedly recommend the LEM trigger.

Mostly though I can't stand DA/SA, and don't really trust the cocked and locked option on the HK. On a 1911, at least the grip safety still has to be depressed to fire.
