So.

Lost my primary pistol in a theft not long ago. Went up to the local gun shop that I prefer to frequent looking for some manner of 'real' gun (all I have at the moment is a .32 auto...) with the intent of looking for another PX4 to replace my stolen one (which would be nice, I have tons of mags/ammo) but striking out.

I called around and everyone - everyone within 200 miles of me is sold out of the PX4. I keep getting the same answer everywhere - "We can't get ahold of anyone at Beretta to order until after the SHOT show, blah blah, call us in three weeks."

Feh.

Talked to my guy at Targetmaster and he says he can order one from a sub-distributor and have it here by the end of the week, why not come in and put down a deposit for the order? Okay.

Well, I went to my local gun store as mentioned above, and while they too were sold out/couldn't get any PX4's in a reasonable time frame, lo do I behold a Colt Double Eagle in 10mm for... 550 dollars. Same price tag as my yet-to-be-ordered Storm.

I'm pretty broke at the moment. Can't buy both.

The Double Eagle sounds like a damn nice deal, at the cost of not having any ammo for the thing lying around. Should I chance that the Double Eagle will still be there in two weeks when I get paid and have the money for it and order my stupid replacement Storm (which I already have mags, holster, ammo, &c. for) or the other way 'round?
