Critique my wishlist for reloading @ midway

Yeah, Get all your stuff from Grafs. www.Grafs.com, better prices especially when you factor in the shipping which midway takes you to the cleaners on.

Last year I bought a LNL from Grafs, 307.00 and 4.95 for shipping and handling. Midway was $362.00, and wanted $37 to ship it ups!!!!!

If you areg getting primers or powder, powder valley is the place to go, much better prices than midway and no special handling fee on top of the shipping and hazmat.

Forgot to mention that I did get calipers too, from Harbor Freight too. The digital ones they had on sale for $15. Pricematched it at the store, no problems.

I'll chalk up a cart at grafs.

Powder is definately available here but $3 higher than powder valley and no Small Rifle Primers :-/ I guess the cost difference will be nil if i order from powder valley plus they have primers.

Lee lube and size kit.

Ok a size kit it used if you plan on casting bullets. Which you would need to purchase the molds and a heating source ie furnace. you do not need a sizing kit to load bullets. unless your going to cast bullets. Bullets always come lubed and sized (cast bullets). jacketed copper bullets do not need sizing.

I'll comment on a couple things.

Bullet puller. Check these out rather than a kinetic.

Case lube. Lee is good stuff, but I find it slow to use if doing a lot of cases. Something like this is great for lubing a LOT of cases all at once. You need to clean after applying the lube though. Doesn't need to be this brand, but something like it, though I use it and I think it's pretty good.

Manual. Personally I found the Lee book to be inferior. I'd recommend nearly any other book.

One thing you don't have listed is case de-burring/chamfer and primer crimp remover. I'm not familiar with the Dillon Swager's abilities beyond crimp removal. And you didn't mention if you're shooting a lot of rounds. But if you're anything like me and are prepping a few hundred cases at a time, a power de-burr/chamfer unit will save you from going insane. You'll start to feel your will to live ebbing away when you're spending hours upon hours on cases.

I use this thing. It's not exactly cheap but it works really well, add the military crimp cutter and it's good to go.

Also, spring for a digital scale. Way faster than a beam scale. But then again I weigh every charge because I'm a nerd. If you only weigh charges every now and then a beam is fine.

Suppose a digital scale; which one? I know they can be $$$$ but also cheap.. But they say the cheap ones suck so.

Didn't realize the list would change and the link would stay with it, sorry. I chagned a whole lot there! haha.. I'm looking at case trimmers now, something powered because I know I'll be going through a lot of cases but I'm not sure on the $250!! Probably a forester with an adaptor on there and use my drill but..

As for the lee powder measure kit, why not? -- just seems like a easy way to load up a quick 100 rounds or something with intermediate powder weight if there's one that works in there.
