Crosbreed Holsters, any good for glock?

Anyone have experience with the supertuck holster? http://crossbreedholsters.com/ I was thinking of getting one for my glock. Also, would you go with the horsehide or cowhide? I'm looking for something to hide my glock 27 under a t-shirt.

I'm waiting for a horsehide supertuck I ordered for my G23. No personal experience yet but excellent reputation and reviews guided my purchase.
If I like it as much as I expect, I'm going to order a mini-tuck for my PM9.

I never could get used to all that hardware with screws and rivets hanging on my side. It is like putting on a corset, that thing is so big and clumsy.

I have a comp tac holster which is a lot like the crossbreed holster. I loved it. It is the most comfortable holster i own. Its a good call.

I have a CrossBreed for every one of my carry pistols. They're so comfortable, you may literally forget that you're carrying. I use mine carrying 14 hour days, hunting, hiking, you name it. I've tried a Comp-Tac and prefer the CrossBreed. I've also tried a couple of the injection-molded IWB holsters. They're nowhere near as comfortable.

I have a couple horsehide and a couple cowhide CrossBreeds. The horsehide is slightly thicker than the cowhide. If you live in a humid climate, I would recommend the horsehide over the cowhide. Otherwise, there's little appreciable difference between the two.

I do prefer the combat cut, but that's something that anyone with even the slightest DIY abilities and a heavy-duty pair of kitchen shears can do themselves.

I recently ordered a supertuck deluxe for my SR9c. I got it and it is definitely a good quality holster. However, I decided to return it because it was just too hard to get on and off. I like my holsters to be easy to get on and off for because I end up going into places that don't allow concealed weapons.

Another thing I wasn't crazy about was the fact that you only get a specific amount of what I call "tuckable depth" to the holster. If you're like me, some of my dress shirts are longer than others. The Crossbreed only gives you a certain amount of room to tuck the side of your shirt in. If you wear a longer shirt, you end up with having extra shirt untucked on one side of your body. When I tried it, it was really conspicuous. Like why is one side of your shirt untucked more than the other side? That kind of thing.

If I didn't need to take a holster on and off so much and if I didn't wear tucked in shirts as much as I do, I would have kept the Crossbreed because it was considerably more comfortable than other holsters I've worn. But for my situation, it was more trouble than it was worth, so I returned it.

Good points, Olympus. I think I've only worn mine with a tucked shirt a couple times. I'm not aware of any other holsters out there with greater "tuckable depth" than the CBST. Did you find something you liked better?

Putting on the CrossBreed and taking it off - with an untucked shirt - is a matter of seconds for me. I can see how the process would take longer with a tucked shirt. Did you ever consider just leaving it in your waistband and taking out the gun?

I have a crossbreed holster and love it. (I have the horsehide model.) Now, if I get a 1911 I may try a leather holster. For my everyday carry I have a Walther P99 AS. After the holster is broken in it wears like a glove under a tee shirt. If I go some place that CC is not allowed, I remove the gun, not the holster. I have a gun safe in the bolted in the car. When I get to the first gas station the gun goes back in the holster.

I use Kydex for my 1911's. Just cause they're pretty deon't mean they can't work to.

I use a Crossbreed Supertuck with my g23. It conceals ok at 5 oclock on me. It conceals flawlessly at 6 oclock.

If I'm standing or walking alot I can use less garment with the holster at 530-6. A t-shirt may be tough, but if a holster can pull it the CB ST should. I haven't found a better holster for concealment yet.

I have 2 one for my G30 and 1 for my G22. The large piece of leather actually makes the holster more comfortable. The hardware on the back is not a factor at all IMO.

I have an MTAC and a Tucker The Answer for my full size 1911. they all function about the same. The fit and finish of the MTAC and the Tucker is better but function is the same

The Tucker has an option for a leather lined Kydex shell to protect the finish if you need that.

Don't over look The Kholster. It is a lot cheaper, I have one and it is very comfortable once you have it located in a good position. You can modify it your self with out voiding the warr and when ordered you will have it a lot quicker. Jimmy is very open to improvement suggestions and a good person to talk to as opposed to the other guy. Look on the net www.kholster.com .
