The Crosman 38C is one of the most iconic pistols with a amazing story.
The 38T & 38C are one of the most realistic pellet pistol Replicas ever made. It has the weight, the size, the correct grips, the adjustable sights, firing action and all the features in which the pistol it replicates. The .22 was used in government and police training starting in 1962. The S&W was the most common pistol used by them in this era.
it was released to the public and produced in 1964. This one is a 1966 model produced **First variant in .22″ (1964 – 1976) There where three variants. In 1976. Crosman stopped production of the .22″ versions of both pistols.

I used to have one of those. I rode along in my bass boat and was used to keep away "stick monsters" as my wife and I called them. When the fishing got slow, out came the air gun and we'd plink away for a while.

One day the seals ruptured. I knew nothing of replacing them, or even that they could be replaced, so it got retired and somewhere or other, like Puff the Magic Dragon, it just sort of faded away.

I've thought about getting another. I've looked on Ebay, but they ones I see either have 6" barrels, or they look like they've been drug behind a truck for a few miles. I'm still looking.
