Crossbreed Holsters

Anyone have any experience with this holster? Thinking about the OWB superslide for my Ruger 9mm and 1911 for concel carry.

I bought a Supertuck and Snapslide for my 3" Ruger sp101. I got them both with horse hide and they're fantastic.

I also bought the J-hook clips but use the regular clips because the holster stays supported much better and no one notices them anyway.

The only thing I dislike is that they tend to squeak. I've read that this goes away after getting worn in but mine were still squeaky after about 30 days of wearing them (not consecutive days, but total time). I put some fabric where the clips touch the leather and it completely fixed the issue.

I'd definitely buy from them again.

I have a super tuck for 1911. Love it! Fits great, wears well, and the adjustment range is nice. They were great to deal with as well.

I have a Supertuck for my Glock 19. I'm in the process of getting my CCW renewed, so I've only worn the holster around the house, while dry firing, and at the range. I can tell you that the quality is excellent, that it fits as advertised and is very stable with a good gun belt. One thing I wish I would have seen before clicking the "buy" button is hikock45's video on IWBs. His opinion is basically that there are a lot of companies producing these type of holsters so you could save a little bit of money with another brand.

I have one for a 1911, PT111 Pro, my wife has a left hand version for the PT111 Pro also. I find them the single most comfortable IWB holster I've ever worn. All of mine are cow hide and carry well. I also use The Beltman Belts with them.

I bought the horsehide for my Glock 19 along with a nice belt. Both are great and I will do more business with them down the road. They are NOT cheap, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get.

I bought Jon Parker's holster for nearly half the price and got it in less than a week.

Since I haven't tried the Crossbreed, I can't compare... but it's hard to imagine the Supertuck being THAT much better for twice the $$'s.

My daughter will be getting a Crossbreed for her revolver and I'll be able to compare.

Edited to add: I have since acquired an appropriate belt and it DOES make a difference... as it would with any holster.

I have a Super tuck for my H&K and a one clip holster for my wife's Taurus 357, the one with only one clip likes to rotate, it stay comfy but I end up adjusting it all the time to keep it viable. I would defiantly recommend the Super Tuck, It has held up for 3 years without a problem.

I bought a mini tuck for my PM9. It is a good iwb holster, and I have been extremely happy with it. At the time, CB was about the only one making this kind of holster. I would have to give the Parker holsters a good look if I were buying now
