Through the great guys at welikeshooting.com, I got a chance to try out my very first carry rig. In preparations for getting my CPL, I wanted to try out a holster that would be comfortable, ergonomic and functional (also tactical). Though it's a bit squeaky at first, the Crossbreed Supertuck is an extremely high quality holster in terms of fit, finish, and wearability. The retention is perfect (though you can easily change it to fit your needs), it's built to last and they have a lifetime warranty! Hard to beat that! Give the video a watch, let me know what you think and what your experiences have been with these and other CCW holsters.

Love mine. It just simply consumes my G19 like it wasn't there and yet makes it accessible. I have the horsehide mode. I have mine canted fully forward.

Have one for a H&K P7M8 (steel frame). Works very well, although it's a common design that can be acquired from other vendors. That being said, Crossbreed's quality is great, their turnaround time is pretty good, and their pricing is in line with the industry. They're also great folks from my limited interaction with them.

I have on for a government sized 1911.

It is hands down the most comfortable holster I've used with this pistol.

I love the adjustable cant and retention, and you cant argue with a lifetime warranty.

Great company to work with, cant recommend them enough!

I own all three, and they are all very similar. Tucker's is the most expensive, but very customizable, you can call him and have him taylor it to your needs. Also seems like a softer, more comfortable leather.

The Comp-Tac MTAC is great in that you can have it typically within a week. Pretty adjustable, and works well.

The Crossbreed has their kinda unique clips which I like, not only aesthetically, but also functionally. Not quite as adjustable, but actually cheaper than the other two (forgot about that). If I recall, they are on a couple week wait, but that probably varies quite a bit.

I actually have a CrossBreed belt as well, and it is also high-quality. Wish it had a stiffener built-in, but the leather is good, and is decent for the price.

I have two one for a PT111 Pro and another for a RIA/Armscor 1911 CS both are very comfortable and I put the gun of the day on with my pants in the morning and take it off before going to bed. I've got a box full of IWB holsters some a lot more money that weren't any where as comfortable as this holster and even my pancake OWB holster isn't more comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I ever add another gun to my carry guns.

I have a plastic crate full of holster in 43 years of carry. they all seem good or bad at first. You will find that some of the ones you bought for one gun and didn't like will suit your needs 10 years later, for another. I gave up on conventional holsters a long time ago. I either pocket carry, with a cheapo "Hickock" type pocket holster or a Versa Carry, or throw one in a fanny Pak., and one in a pocket.
Fanny paks are necessary when you have a bad back, and can't sit on your wallett. Been using them for 20 years, i wear a shirt over it and you really can't see it unless you look.
Besides I carry keys wallet, knife, reload, mag, flashlight, etc. there just is not a pair of pants made to store that stuff, unless you buy a pair of CCW breakaways. They are the answer. they have 2 holsters built into the pockets, and still have two extra pockets, "cargo pants" for wallet and keys, glasses etc. For 100 bucks you get pants and 2 holsters. Google them, the holsters are in a yoke, and you can carry 2 fullsized guns without seeing a thing, I am 180, and 6 foot tall. The holsters are adjustable for depth and side to side movement. Two colors and a jean, They work Period, the holster is supported from inside so as not to pull the pants down, and two snaps go under the belt line, so when you pull, it breaks away from the pants, straight out, not up and out.

I've got two, love them! Started out using the first to fully conceal my XDM 4.5! The grip is really long but the Crossbreed does an excellent job! Then I bought one for my new Glock 27.
Service is outstanding and the wait times are worth it!
