Crossbreed's Reckoning Holster for S&W Shield Plus - Customer Service

I like the versatility. It's comfortable IBW and is easily conferted to a secure OWB holster. Worth the money except for one minor detail; unlike the Super and Mini Tucks, this holster has a lip where the end of the barrel portion and is too short. The trigger guard won't seat and the gun has little retention even with full adjustment of the tensioner.
I have a cholce of sending it back under their "Two Week Trial" program, incurring two way shipping costs and wait to see if they'll honor it as a warranty, or I can take a dremmel tool to that dang lip and hang onto it. Of course, this voids any future warrantly claims.

As I've probably mentioned before, I have the Mini for my Shield 45. I was torn between it and the Reckoning, but decided on the wider spread of the Mini. If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like the lip is keeping the gun from being fully inserted, which prevents it from locking in place. That doesn't sound right. Maybe it's the wrong kydex shell for the Shield Plus? If you haven't already, maybe give them a call and send some pics too. I'd ask for a return label also. I know we're not talking hand-crafted leather, but your holster ain't cheap either and they should make it right. Good luck.
