We, the citizens of CT, are asking for help in fighting the new laws governing CT. Anyone outside of CT can help with donations of any amount. We often read on these boards that the citizens of CT get what they deserve but you know better. Helping with a donation helps all of us. Below is the info if you wish to help us.

Plaintiffs and Request for Injunctive Relief: As you know, our legal team filed the lawsuit, Shew, et al. v. Malloy, et al., on May 22, 2013 in federal court in Connecticut. The plaintiffs are: June Shew, Stephanie Cypher, Brian McClain, Andrew Mueller, Mitchell Rocklin, Peter Owens, Hiller Sports, LLC, MD Shooting Sports, LLC., the Connecticut Citizen’s Defense League (“CCDL”), and the Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen (“CCS”). Shortly after filing suit, we filed a request for immediate temporary injunctive relief, asking the court to stop the implementation and enforcement of the new law. In support of our request for injunctive relief, our legal team filed expert reports demonstrating that the law not only fails to make Connecticut citizens more safe – perversely, it actually makes Connecticut citizens less safe. (Read the reports here: http://ccdl.us/blog/2013/08/04/expert-testimony/ )

Make A Donation: While we are off to a good start raising the needed funds, it is critical that we keep going if we intend to achieve our objective: full restoration of 2nd Amendment rights in Connecticut. To donate online to the litigation fund, click here to access the secure site: PayPal link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=YBQ46K53YBUAA

If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to: “CCDL” and note on the face of the check that it is for the “2A Litigation Fund.” Checks should be mailed to: CCDL, P.O. Box 642, Groton, CT 06340. (NOTE: Please do not write checks to CCS. By agreement, CCDL is serving as the organization in charge of receiving all donations to the plaintiffs’ litigation fund and it has established strict procedures and a separate account for handling and managing donations for this purpose.

Check is in the mail. Thank you for fighting the good fight. The use of the emergency certification as a vehicle to pass the bill was a dirty move.

Furthermore, The exemption for military personnel was another dirty move, because it removed the interest of strong adversaries to the legislation. United we stand, divided we fall.

Thanks p2000!
Every little bit helps.
I know it's Christmas time but even $5 will go a long way.
We need every state to fight their individual battle because they are attacking us one state at a time instead of on a national level.
They are playing dirty pool and we have to beat them in the courts.

Good luck with this! Go get 'em!! I would also encourage anyone to give money to the Foley campaign. He lost to Malloy by less than a point in 2010. According to the polls If the election were held today. he boots Malloy from office.

A great Ad now running in NY for Foley:

Do your research and if you agree, donate to Foley campaign.

Getting Malloy booted from office would be sweet retribution!

Agree, Malloy has to go.
We have to take this state back.
It's out of control.

Larry, After I made my post it dawned on me that I hijacked your thread. That was not my intention so if if you want me to take it down just ask. I am extremely passionate about this issue.

No, it all goes together with getting back our rights.

I believe we are all passionate about this.

If these moves by the politicians in all states does not drive our people out to vote then we have no one to blame but ourselves in the end. All we have now is our vote and our money to support the court challenges. If we remain silent or ambivalent, our kids won't have a chance. The time to stop them is now because if we don't, we're a generation away from the 2nd amendment being nothing but a fond memory. It's already started in the grade schools. Pop Tart guns and finger guns get you expelled. When this generation grows up in fear of anything gun related, we have to have court decisions already in place protecting what is rightfully ours. The precedence has to be in place and that has to come from what we do today,,,, now. They brought the fight to us and we have to respond hard and fast. If we hesitate, waiting for things to go away, the only thing that will go away is our freedom.
