Some states only allow CR long guns to be shipped to a CR License. Is there a list of those states?

Thank You.

C&R usually means Curio and Relic, not Replica. There are no restrictions on replicas because they are not "guns".

Not sure what hso thought the question was, but I know that California does not recognize the C&R for handguns and they must be shipped to a regular 001 FFL dealer for transfer. I think New Jersey refuses to recognize the C&R at all. Other than those two I don't know. If there are any other states that restrict C&R transfers the suspects would be the usual anti-gun states like MA, IL, HI etc. but I don't know for sure.

Replica can mean a newly manufactured firearm of a design that an orginal would be a Curio and Relic.

Example: Winchester 1892. Originals will be over 50 years old, so they are C&R rifles. New ones made by Rossi, Puma, etc are NOT C&R eligable. These are "replicas" of original guns. It's the manufacture date of the firearm that qualifies it, not the design.

Oh... I see now.

It's Curio and Relic, not replica.

But I think the question was still about which states restrict C&R transactions.

C & R Pistols / Handguns

Here in New York, Pistols & handguns have to be shipped to a 01 dealer - not so rifles.
