I have a scope which is on a Thompson Contender pistol my father used for deer hunting a very long time ago, before he passed away. It has been sitting in storage in my closet for the better part of 20 years now, and who knows when he last used it. I was just wondering if it is any good or worth a few bucks now?

it is labeled 1.5x-4.5x20 and appears to be an early vintage micro dot sight. The battery cover is labeled oakshore electronic sights inc.

This was mounted on a .35 remington - Thompson Contender pistol that was used by my father to take many, many deer over the years. He wasn't a trophy hunter, but would bag at least 1 decently large buck a year, and a doe on the years he was lucky enough to get a permit. I know he started using this gun around the very early 1980's , possibly late 1970's and am unsure of the year this scope was put on it. It still works fine and the glass seems very clear and bright. oakshore-electronic-sights-inc.jpg oakshore-electronic-sights-inc2.jpg
